Bunker vikas sanstha is the apex Self Help Group of the weavers of Chanderi, supported by UNIDO, BASIX, UNESCO, ONGC and OneWorld South Asia. It is an impressive two storied structure which houses dyeing, weaving and tailoring facilities within its premises. It also functions as a yarn depot and a warehouse of finished products like saris, furnishings and yardage. This sanstha or organization is a study in the development and fruition of the age old process of weaving managed by the local people.
